Lo Call Rate Explained
Lo Call rate means you will be charged at a fixed low rate very similar to a normal local telephone call. The rate of an 0844 Lo call rate number is charged at can vary quite considerably, however we keep our 0844 rate close to that which would be charged for an 0845 local rate call. Why do we do this? Well, we use an 0844 number because we earn a slightly better rate from the Telco provider which enables us to maintain the ISP servces we provide at Free UK ISP. You dial an 0844 dialup number to connect to the Internet and you are charged accordingly for that call for however long you stay connected to the internet. The cost of a local call varies depending on your telco supplier and the time of day you call.
