Windows 2K Dial Up Configuration
- Double click on My Computer and then double click on the Control Panel
- Double click on Network and Dial Up Connections
- Double click on Make New Connection
- Click on Next and select Dial-up to the Internet.
- Click on Next to continue
- Select I want to set up my Internet connection manually and click on next to continue
- Select I connect through a phone line and a modem, then click on Next
- Enter the phone number 08447110059 and remove the tick from Use area code and dialing rules
- Click on the Advanced button
- Select PPP as the connection type and for the Logon procedure select None
- Click on the Addresses tab and bullet point, "Internet service provider automatically provides one" in the IP address section, and, "My ISP autoatically provides a domain name server (DNS) address" in the DNS server address section.
- Click on OK
- Click on Next to continue
- Enter your username and password in lowercase and click on Next to continue
Username - free@internet
Password - internet - Give the dial up connection you just created a name for example "Free UK ISP ".
- Click on next to finish
